I just recently read/watched The Twelve Kingdoms (or Juuni Kokki) by Fuyumi Ono.
It's a pretty excellent story! It's set in a mythical world - with its roots in Chinese mythology. It has a bit of an Avatar: The Last Airbender vibe to it, but the story itself is more along the lines of The Chronicles of Narnia.

Anyway. There are absolutely adorkable fellows, goddess queens, awesome ladies with excellent character development and roguish royalty... I kind of love it a lot. :heart:

It pleases me that more than one devianart user that I like are turning out Twelve Kingdoms art. It really needs recognition and having people whose work I enjoy promote it (lol xD) is great.
